The prevention of environment, health and safety (EHS) incidents enjoys a high priority in SKM, and a ‘zero-harm’ philosophy towards our employees, the community and the environment is being integrated into all SKM's business practices.

SKM recognises that fostering and promoting a preventative environment, health and safety culture is fundamental to improving EHS performance in the long term. EHS issues are dealt with as the first item on the agendas of management meetings, and EHS committees operate at all levels in the SKM regions.
